TheRentalMarket.ca is committed to ensuring that our website and services are accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We strive to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level.

What We Do

We have taken the following steps to make our website more accessible:

• Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy across all pages
• ARIA labels on interactive elements including navigation, buttons, and form controls
• Keyboard navigation support throughout the site, including our Ask RAZZ chatbot
• High-contrast colour scheme with a light/dark mode toggle for user preference
• Responsive design that works across screen sizes and devices
• Skip-to-content links for screen reader users
• Form labels and error messages that are clearly associated with their inputs

Known Limitations

While we work to ensure accessibility across our site, some areas may have limitations:

• Some older neighbourhood guide pages may have images without full descriptive alt text. We are actively updating these.
• Third-party embedded content (Cal.com scheduling widget, Google Maps) may not fully meet WCAG standards. These services maintain their own accessibility practices.
• PDF documents linked from the site may not be fully accessible. If you need an alternative format, please contact us.
